Situated 5 minutes away from Varkala, the resort is idyllically located on the South Cliff, right above the beautiful sands of the Papanasam Beach. Varkala is about 55 kilometres from the hustle and bustle of Trivandrum city and the International Airport. Resort and Facilities At Sea Pearl we have 10 twin sharing ensuite cottages overlooking the surf. The unique construction, and special terracotta and marble flooring, keep the Chalets cool during both day and night. Not forgetting to mention of course the incessant sea breeze. The spectacular view of the ocean is breathtaking, the sunset being a daily treat of ever-changing hues of red and orange. At night the horizon is lit up by thousands of little fairy lights twinkling in the distance, marking the fishing spots of fisherman out at sea. The beach is directly accessible from the resort; the close proximity and unobstructed view of the ocean makes the Chalets comparatively exceptional. The natural spring on the beach provides a cool and rejuvenating bath after a day in sun and sand. The cottages are cosy. The doors face the sea so that you can enjoy the view and sea breeze while indoors too. Though mosquitoes are almost nonexistent, mosquito nets are fitted in all rooms for those concerned. The ensuite bathroom has hot (solar powered) and cold shower facilities. The kitchen serves a large breakfast menu and our friendly staff is always ready to provide fresh tender coconut, juices and fresh tropical fruit at any time of day. Restaurants are situated a few minutes away and on the opposite cliff too. Laundry service is available at request. We provide the exotic Indian Ayurvedic Therapy and Massage. You will be diagnosed (if required) and be under the supervision of a licensed Ayurvedic doctor. Please make prior arrangements, ideally when making reservations if possible.
